How does Drop Rate Potential work in AriesMS?

I've been reading around the internet that item drop rate potential is no longer available on a few equipment such as belts.

Can I check if this is true for AriesMS?

If not, the best way to get item drop rate is 4 rings, 1 pendant, 1 belt, 1 face acc, 1 eye acc, 1 earring and 1 shoulder. Am I missing anything?

you can roll drop rate/meso rate on accessories (belt, earrings, rings, eye, face, pendant), only if they are legendary tier though. You can also get it on the bpot as well but way more expensive to get those lines.

Im not sure how the familiar drop is calculated in this server but i think its 100% of total drop rate not an additional 100% drop. I have 200% drop, 100% base + 5 20% drop gear -> when i use mutant ribbon pig i go from 200% to 400%

Since the cap for drop is 600%, (100% base + 100% drop card + 100% drop gear) * 2 should be 600%

I dont want to use 2VP to get a drop card so im not sure but with 5 20% drop gear + familiar you get 400%

Buy a potential scroll from the auction house or mobs sometimes drop them, they should be purple scrolls

Use the scroll -> if its 2 line, use premium red miracle cubes (using the old maple coins dropped by non-elite mobs from ch 1-10 trade in at the box in fm) or silver/gold stamps (probably do the premium cubes a its cheaper) until you get 3 lines -> red cubes until legendary

be careful though because IIRC lvl 70 below gears can only get 10% drop/15% meso? while 70+ gear gets 20% drop/20% meso

Last I played Maple was ~2011, I remembered if it fails the item goes boom hahaha. Not sure if that changed

bonus pot scroll 70% has a chance to boom if failed, im 90% sure that regular pot scrolls dont boom if failed (ive yet to fail one after using 30+ 70% ones)

Ok cool, I just read from another thread (think it's the scrolling guide). Someone mentioned regular pot scrolls work 100% of the time.

Guess that's it, it doesn't boom items anymore (or at least in AriesMS)

Hey! I just tested with a 2x drop card and it appears that the card isnt affected by the familiar and its separate because i used my 100% drop gear with familiar to get 400% and with drop card only got to 500%, so maybe you need 150% in drop gear + drop card to get 600% cap

Hahaha yes, I just tried the ticket today.

Familiar seems to be multiplicative and 2x drop card additive.

You could do 150% in drop gear or go 200% and just have familiar..

Now gotta find out how familiar vitality works as I can't seem to summon it back after DC-ing
