It affects your drop with regards to Arcane dailies etc.
Not to mention when you do bosses such as CRA, Easy Lucid, the amount of drops you get are dependent on your Drop Rate %.
(Or in the case of equipment, if you'll get them)
600% drop rate is cap on this server, you start with 100% plus 160% from 8 potential lines on accessories, this gets doubled by the mutant pig familiar to 520%, and an extra 100% comes from vote points card. This puts you at server cap 600% and your pretty much ready to farm MP. Use the @check command in chat to check your rates.
